The Cultural Affairs Section of the Student Union of the University of Oulu promotes colorful academic student culture by innovating and executing compelling events on campuses and in the centre of Oulu. The section offers all Student Union members possibilities to both enjoy and create diverse culture. The section organizes events, campaigns and parties. The section is able to comment on the cultural offerings in the city of Oulu. As a supporting body, the Cultural Affairs Section may also participate in carrying out events organized by the Student Union, such as Vulcanalia. The Cultural Affairs Section serves the interests of all members of the Student Union.
